Northline Motorcars began in 2011 with three cars and a parking space in Newark. We were tired of rental counters, queues and cars that had clearly been driven hard. So we built the opposite.
How we work
We keep the fleet deliberately small. Sixteen cars, each one chosen because it does a job well — an efficient commuter, a seven-seat family SUV, a flagship saloon for a client visit, a sports car for a weekend.
Because we are not a national chain, we can do things they cannot. We deliver to your door anywhere in New Jersey at no charge. We answer the phone at two in the morning. And we will tell you honestly if a car is not right for your trip.
Most of our business comes from people who rented once and came back. That is the only review that matters to us.

Each car is inspected, fluids checked and tyres measured between every single booking. No exceptions.
Detailed, not just cleaned
Interiors are steam-cleaned and exteriors hand-finished. You should not be able to tell it has been rented.

Every vehicle carries commercial coverage. Additional driver protection is available at pickup.

Five pickup points and free delivery statewide. We know the Turnpike, the shore and the airport terminals.
